Tuning range can be adjusted using custom optics. Typical tuning curves for 4W
pump laser are shown in the
brochure. With
4W pump laser and long-wave mirrors set Trestles Finesse can be tuned up to
940nm. With 6W pump laser wavelength tuning range going up to 980nm.
Trestles Finesse can be easily customized at the factory for required tuning
ranges and pulse duration.

1) Ar-ion laser or diode-pumped solid-state laser is required. TEMoo spatial mode is important
We recommend 5 W diode pumped solid state (DPSS) laser (Verdi from Coherent or
Millenia from Spectra-Physics) as a pumping source.
2) femtosecond autocorrelator is recommended for pulse duration measurement (optional)
3) External group velocity dispersion compensation should be done to obtain pulse duration <20 fs
4) Wavelength tuning with two sets of mirrors
