All devices were developed based on extensive experimental scientific research and
mathematical modeling and integrate the most innovative ideas of modern nonlinear optics.
Increased reliability and low cost are ensured by the solid-state technology based on
up-to-date nonlinear optical crystals, such as BBO, LBO, KTP, DKDP, Ba(NO3)2 , KGdWO4 ,
etc.
High conversion efficiency, hands-off operation and compact size make these devices an
ideal and logical supplement to conventional lasers.
New SOLAR LS OPO systems combine high energy output, extremely wide tuning range with
exceptionally easy maintenance and increased reliability.
These OPO systems are developed based on the end user's demands and are highly reliable
and easy to operate. The main advantage of the OPO LP series is extremely low minimum
required operating pump power densities. Thanks to the original optical scheme the
specified parameters are obtained even at low pump intensities and as a result neither
crystals nor other optics can be damaged. This feature combined with precise optics mounts
and dust protective housing insure perfect reliability and long-term output stability.

BBO OPO system Model LP601
The OPO LP series optical design provides high-efficiency output even if it is pumped
by standard multimode Nd:YAG lasers. The customer does not have to buy or use complex and
expensive TEMoo or single-frequency pump lasers. The maintenance expenses are therefore
reduced and the OPO LP series is attractive for every user. Compactness of the OPO saves
space at your optical table and allows to easily integrate it into any available laser
system.
A set of broadband dichroic mirrors supplied in the standard set with the device allows
when it is necessary to separate the idler and the signal waves.

OPTIONS
Low divergence option enables to extract from the OPO system radiation with
higher angular brightness;
PC controlled OPO system is available upon request;
UV option allows to provide tunable output within the range of 300-400 nm.
Output wavelength control option. The OPO system can be supplemented with a
PC-compatible SpectraStar output wavelength measuring and control system. The
SpectraStar is a super compact spectrometer with optical fiber input and CCD
registration system.
Nd:YAG LASERS
HARMONIC GENERATORS
New LG-series of harmonic generators provides efficient output at 213nm, 266nm and
355nm. Compactness and compatibility with any pulsed Nd:YAG laser make these devices the
most cost-effective source of UV radiation for various scientific and industrial
applications.
Nd:YAG lasers equipped with the LG105 will greatly increase your capabilities and for a
lot of applications can eliminate the necessity for excimer lasers. We apply
Solid-State technology which does not uses toxic gases and costs less, giving you the
advantage of consistent day-to-day operation and low maintenance. High quality BBO crystal
is used in the LG105 as a non-linear element, providing up to 20% conversion efficiency to
213nm. The non-linear crystal is placed in a special cell ensuring long lifetime of BBO
without any damages. A harmonic separation system installed in the LG105 provides nearly
100% spectral purity output at 213nm. The LG105 Fifth Harmonic Generator gives you not
only high power output but also a possibility of work with the required radiation
stability.

LG103 is a SOLAR LS series Third and Fourth Harmonic Generators for pulsed Nd:YAG
lasers. THG or FHG only or THG and FHG version may be supplied
upon request. Utilization of non-critical phase matching and special polarization
correctors provides up to 40% conversion efficiency from green to UV.

Third and Fourth Harmonics Generator Model LG103
Non-linear crystals are placed into a temperature controlled oven, that allows to
obtain high UV-output stability and protects non-linear crystals from moisture. The LG103
has built-in harmonic separators and lets you obtain pure UV-output without any additional
accessories.

SOLID-STATE
RAMAN SHIFTER
The Solid State Raman Shifter LZ series uses innovative technology Ba(NO3)2 (shift
1047 cm-1) and KGdWO4 (shift 767.3 and 901.5 cm-1) crystals. The crystals
unique properties allow their application for Raman frequency conversion ranging from VIS
to IR. The nonlinear crystal placed in the optimized cavity ensures high conversion
efficiency of the the pump radiation to the 1st, 2nd or 3rd order Stokes, alongside with
low generation thresholds. Upon your order mirrors can be installed into the LZ221 Shifter
for obtaining definite Stokes, as well as for receiving the multi-line output (generating
several components simultaneously) with the total conversion efficiency more than 50%. The
design of this device minimizes the needs for user adjustments and allows to easily
replace cavity mirrors while re-aligning the Raman Shifter from one wavelength to another.

Solid-state Raman Shifter Model LZ221
Unlike gas Raman Shifters using high pressure cells, the LZ221 is characterized by
complete safety in operation and low operating densities of pump radiation, what leads to
additional advantages and facilitates the operation.
